Temporary Desolation

Barley, a dog, sniffs about in a patch of formerly overgrown greenery that has been reduced to nothing but brown mulch and stumps.

As part of an aggressive landscaping strategy, the grounds crew at work have really reduced some of the green spaces to a dingy shadow of their former selves. This seems very intentional on their part, so I fully expect that as temperature continue to rise, we’re going to see a surge of new growth, just in time to impress the wave of visitors that comes with the end of Spring.
